Once again in 2026, Crisil Coalition Greenwich has recognised Intesa Sanpaolo’s strong positioning in Italy in Corporate Trade Finance, awarding the Bank two prestigious accolades:
- Share Leader – Corporate Trade Finance Market Penetration in Europe – Italy
- Best Bank – Corporate Trade Finance in Europe – Italy
The Coalition Greenwich Awards are widely regarded as a benchmark in the banking and financial industry, enabling the positioning and quality of banks to be compared across different markets. The awards are based on the Coalition Greenwich Voice of Client – 2026 Europe Corporate Trade Finance Study, conducted through in-depth interviews with leading corporate decision-makers active in Corporate Trade Finance.
In particular, the Share Leader Awards recognise banks with the highest market penetration, measured by the percentage of companies that regard them as a key provider across the various products. Intesa Sanpaolo ranked first in Italy in this category.
The Best Bank Award, by contrast, is determined on the basis of the Greenwich Quality Index (GQI), which assesses banks across a range of qualitative factors by combining client ratings with the number of interviews conducted.
The accolades received once again in 2026 confirm Intesa Sanpaolo’s strong positioning in Corporate Trade Finance and reflect an approach focused on supporting businesses through specialist expertise, a broad offering, and increasingly innovative and digital solutions. The ability to combine advisory expertise, service quality and the ongoing evolution of its offering is a distinctive strength in supporting companies with their Trade Finance needs, including in international markets, reinforcing Intesa Sanpaolo’s role as a trusted partner for businesses.
